Dawn Strickland

Dawn Strickland has participated in multiple stages of the entrepreneurial process—from idea conception through post-acquisition integration—as an employee, founder, board member, and advisor. She has also worked in corporate finance—as interim management and financial advisor to distressed organizations, restructuring initiative project leader, and valuation/financial modeling/financial statement analysis trainer to the world’s leading financial institutions. Trained in entrepreneurial management as an undergraduate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Dawn earned an MBA with distinction from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where she was a fund manager of the nation’s first student-run venture philanthropy fund.

Dawn is Administrative Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at LIU Brooklyn and a member of the entrepreneurship faculty.
