WSCR exists to provide currently enrolled students of Southampton College an opportunity to participate in an extra circular activity, which is open to all students (not just Communication majors). Each individual will learn how a radio station operates. This includes being a DJ, production work, station management, and promotion. All phases of radio station operation will be taught to enhance each member's overall knowledge of broadcasting. WSCR serves the college community as well by providing entertainment and information for the entire campus community. WSCR is open to all students of the University regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual preference, national origin, or disability. ABSOLUTELY NO student on academic probation may be involved with WSCR. All DJs must be students of Southampton College. WSCR supports a FREE MUSIC FORMAT. This means all DJ's are allowed play the music they prefer. However, all DJs are required to play a forced rotation, based on their genre of music.
