Registration Information
Online registration for Spring 2010 will begin on October 19 (refer to registration appointment schedule below). We encourage you to meet with your faculty advisor prior to registration to discuss your program requirements and course selections. You may email your advisor (see below) or call the Education Program Office at (631) 287-8214 to schedule an appointment with your advisor. While it is best to meet in person, you may also speak to an advisor by phone.

Registration online is accessed through your My LIU account, my.liu.edu. Once logged into the system, you will be able to register for classes as follows:

Monday, October 19
[5:59 am] GRAD students – 36 credits or more earned
[11:59 am] GRAD students – 24-35 credits earned

Tuesday, October 20
[5:59 am] GRAD students – 12-23 credits earned
[11:59 am] GRAD students – 0-11 credits earned

Monday, October 26
[5:59 am] UGRAD students – 75 or more credits earned

Tuesday, October 27
[5:59 am] UGRAD students – 60 - 74 credits earned

Thursday, October 29
[5:59 am] UGRAD students – 45 - 59 credits earned

You may also add and drop classes during the University’s open enrollment period which extends through the end of the first week of the Spring 2010 term.

Online registration instructions are available at the Student Center studentcenter.liu.edu and in hard copy at the Riverhead Student Services Office. If you are unable to register online or need additional assistance with online registration, please contact John-Paul McCaffrey as noted above.

Student Services Information

Billing, payment plans or prior balance inquires can be directed to the Bursar's Office at the C.W. Post Campus by calling 516-299-2323 or emailing bursar@cwpost.liu.edu. Your account must be current, or paid in full before you can register for Summer of Fall 2009.

Financial aid questions should be directed to Christina Stromski at (631) 287-8322 or christina.stromski@liu.edu. Please be reminded that if you receive financial assistance in the form of a student loan and/or scholarship, this credit cannot be applied to your student account for Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 until you have filed your 2009 – 20010 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form. The 2009 – 2010 financial aid year begins with the Summer 2009 term and ends with the Spring 2010 term. The form can be completed on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The federal processing code you need to use on your application is 002751.

If you have any holds on your student account that prevent you from registering for the Spring 2010 term, we suggest that you attempt to resolve the issues as soon as possible You can check your My LIU account for these holds and review the details for information about how to resolve them.
