After 10 days at Los Amigos Research Center we leave and continue our journey down river to Laberinto. In this section of river, we observe numerous gold mining sites on or close to the river banks. Our river journey by river ends at the town of Laberinto. The towns name roughly translated means Labyrinth, which lived up to its name as a disordered and chaotic town. This is a mining town where gold is mined along the banks of the Madre De Dios river.
