Outlook 2002

The popular women?s volleyball team at Southampton Graduate Campus has yet to win a title, but that is likely to change soon. New head coach Tobey Pantophlet is in charge of a young, hard-hitting team that just won?t quit. The Lady Colonials have attracted some of the Northeast?s top high school volleyball talent and, through hard work and determination, should shape up into a surprise contender. The team reached the Eastern College Athletic Conference playoffs in 1998. In 2000, four-year starter Noelle Kuhn led the team to an NYCAC playoff berth with a 7-4 league record. The team is known for its fierce competitiveness and genuine camaraderie ? characteristics that serve them well in the highly competitive New York Collegiate Athletic Conference.
