SEAmester Log, Part 1 Saturday, Oct. 6: Boston Harbor

Dear families, friends and fans of SEAmester,

As I write this, the Schooner Harvey Gamage is in Boston Harbor with its crew scrambling about, preparing the ship for tomorrow's departure. The students are arriving, one by one, wide eyed and excited with duffel bags and high hopes. They will not be disappointed. We have an outstanding trip planned for this fall with many exciting stops with lots of interesting and fun activities. Please see the itinerary on the SEAmester website for more details.

I invite you to tune in to the SEAmester website, which can be accessed at www.seamester-southampton.org or www.seamester.net, to follow along with our journey by reading weekly updates to the SEAmester Log. This trip we will be doing something new and unique, the students themselves will be writing the Log entries. So check in weekly to see if your favorite SEAmester student has posted a written description of a particular field trip, sail or other memorable experience.
