Socially responsible investing integrates certain personal values and concerns for society with investment decisions. It allows people to invest in companies with a commitment to environmental protection, employee diversity and welfare, product safety, and supporting the communities in which they operate.
Areas to be discussed include: "How are social and investment criteria determined?" "What is the social and environmental investment criteria?" "Who performs the social research?" "Does responsible investing make a difference?" "Does social and environmental screening affect fund performance?"
The College's Division of Professional Studies is a newly named department which recently merged the Business and Gerontology divisions.
