"Internet Webmaster" Michael Zawaki Discusses E-Commerce at Southampton CollegeMerrill Lynch's Southampton Office Sponsors Lecture about Use of the Internet in Business

Zawaki, an authority on the booming phenomenon of electronic commerce, will present a lecture, Changing the Way the World Does Business: How the Internet Will Impact You, on Thursday, August 12 from 4-5 p.m. in the Duke Lecture Hall at Southampton College of Long Island University.
Merrill Lynch's Southampton office is sponsoring Zawaki's lecture, which will feature a slide presentation of web sites, a focus on Y2K issues, and a question-and-answer session.

"The Internet and E-commerce are the wave of the future," said Dr. Herb Sherman, director of the Business Division at Southampton College. "Not only is the web a place for businesses to sell their wares, it is becoming a great mechanism for market research. The Internet also is redefining entire concepts like location-- which used to be a primary need for businesses-- as well as where we work and where we shop."
Zawaki, often described as "The Internet Webmaster," is the president of Presentation Dynamics. For 15 years he has lectured about business to clients including Merrill Lynch, AT&T, Sprint, Ford, the International Communications Industry Association, and Century 21.
Zawaki is a member of the National Speakers Association, and is listed in the Who's Who of Professionals. The Boston native earned a B.S. in Marketing/Sales and an M.A. in Education at Northeastern University.
