Fax: (516) 283 4081Scott Sherman, founder of the Fillit Group in Bridgehampton which produces annual reports, will speak at Southampton College of Long Island University on Wednesday, November 17, at 10:00 AM for the Business Lecture Series sponsored by Merrill Lynch and the College's Division of Professional Studies. His topic is "Mining Gold in the New Millenium: Capitalizing on the Next Entrepreneurial Wave".
Scott Sherman founded the Fillit Group in 1982 with his brother Michael, and for the past 17 years the Company has specialized in the design and production of annual reports. Today it is one of the largest vertically integrated producers of annual reports in the country. Fillit Group has a client base encompassing a diverse spectrum of businesses including utilities, pharmaceuticals, publishing, biotechnology, banking, retail, insurance, technology and manufacturing throughout the United States as well as in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, with representation in the Fortune 500.
As supervisor of the production department of the Fillit Group, Scott Sherman. controls the stream of information passing between client, creative director, designers, typographers, proofreaders, desktop publishers and production staff. His "hands on" management approach is backed by 20 years of experience in traffic and production.
The lecture will be held in the Duke Lecture Hall in Chancellors Hall at Southampton College, and is free to the public. Refreshments will be served.
