Southampton College Presents Documentary "Our Children Are At Risk"

631-287-8313Southampton, NY - Long Island University's Institute for Sustainable Development, in association with Grassroots Environmental Education, will present a documentary film entitled "Our Children Are at Risk," in Southampton College's Duke Lecture Hall on Thursday, May 13 at 8 p.m.. The film is free of charge.
"Our Children Are at Risk," is a new documentary exploring the latest scientific research linking environmental toxins to children's health problems. Co-producer Patti Wood details her interviews with leading experts in children's environmental health. Wood offers advice for parents on how to protect children in their homes, schools and communities.
The mission of the Institute for Sustainable Development at Long Island University is to promote Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) on Long Island through research, education and structural reform. The Institute focuses on projects that reduce resource depletion and environmental degradation, promote and support smart growth, green architecture and the use of renewable energy and protect and enhance the quality of community life.
