Southampton College to Hold Earth Day Festival

631-287-8313Southampton, NY - Looking for some down to earth fun? Make plans to attend Southampton College's Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 24 on the College grounds.
Events scheduled for children include arts and crafts, jewelry making, creating a bat box, face painting, boat rides, touch tanks, live animal shows, poster exhibits and skits. Representatives from various environmental groups and information about alternative energy will be available. An organic bake sale will take place as well as nature walks, guest speakers, live music, films, and a hybrid car.
This free event is open to the public and will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, call (631)287-8362.
