Southampton College "Writers Talk": Playwright at Work Geoffrey Gordon

Southampton, NY - Sag Harbor resident and playwright Geoffrey Gordon will read from his plays and discuss the business of playwriting as part of the Southampton College "Writers Talk" lecture series on Wednesday, April 7. The talk is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Pratt Center's Oceanview Lounge.
Gordon's "Testiculations," a play based on the scribe's experiences teaching writing in a maximum security correctional facility has just completed its New York City run. Gordon studied the Sanford Meisner acting technique and will discuss how he incorporates this into the writing process.
Other productions of Gordon's are "Writer's Bloc," a one-act, which was performed at Lincoln Center and his full length play, "Short Change," which made its New York Debut at the Samuel Beckett Theatre.
