Southampton, NY — The School of Continuing Education at Southampton College announces an exciting three-week course exploring the works, background and creative approach of New York Times bestseller, Nelson DeMille.

DeMille, born in New York City and raised on Long Island, has incorporated his geographical roots into several novels, including "The Gold Coast" and "Plum Island," and is about to do so again in "Night Fall," a soon-to-be-released fictional account of the TWA Flight 800 disaster.

"A Retrospective of Nelson DeMille" will be led by Phil Keith, Southampton College School of Continuing Education instructor, adjunct Business professor, DeMille fan and friend. The two met in Moscow more than 20 years ago, while Keith was stationed there as Deputy Navel Attaché with the American Embassy and DeMille was researching material for "The Charm School." They have been talking military and writing ever since.

"A Retrospective of Nelson DeMille" meets Fridays, July 9, 16 and 23, from 7-8:30 p.m. For more information and to register, call The School of Continuing Education at (631) 287-8316.
