Drawings and Paintings by Alfred Ingegno at Southampton College’s Avram Gallery
Reception Slated for Saturday, June 5 at 6 p.m.

Southampton, NY — Alfredo Ingegno will display a variety of works in Southampton College’s Avram Gallery from May 27 to June 28, 2004. A special reception will be held for him on Saturday, June 5 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Ingegno, who studied at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. and the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y., has taken his works to galleries as diverse as the Academy of Fine Arts in Lisbon, Portugal and the Montauk Club in Brooklyn, N.Y. He studied art theory and aesthetics in Italy and is a member of the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition. Ingegno resides in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Avram Family Galleries are located in the Fine Arts Building on Southampton College’s 110-acre campus overlooking Shinnecock Bay and the Atlantic Ocean on Long Island’s East End. Both student works and those of professional artists are displayed in the 700 square foot facility. Past featured artists have included David Ferry, Susan Graham, Chip Cooper, and Susanna Starr.
