John P. McGrath Seminar Series Presents Talk on Cuba

The John P. McGrath Seminar Series will present a talk entitled "The Role of the Masses in the Development of Socialist Democracy in Cuba" with Dr. Miguel Limia David on Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. in the Business Center Lecture Hall at Southampton College.

David, the Primary Investigator of the Institute of Philosophy, in Havana, Cuba, devotes much of his work to human rights, civil society, and the writings of Jose Marti, Cuba's National Hero of the Freedom Movement. David's lecture is sponsored by the John P. McGrath Fund of Long Island University. The series continues on Wednesday, November 6 with Dr. Christopher Chambers from the Howard Marine Sciences Lab.
