- As part of an initiative to promote the use of solar energy on Long Island, a seminar will be held at Southampton College's Duke Lecture Hall on Saturday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The talk, sponsored by Long Island University's Institute for Sustainable Development, features Jonathan Lane, founder of Quad States Solar. The presentation will also include information on LIPA's rebate program and will be followed by a question and answer period with solar installation contractors.
