Southampton College's Writers Speak Lecture Series Continues with Richard Ives

Richard Ives, author of the book Of Tigers and Men: Entering the Age of Extinction, will speak at Southampton College on Wednesday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Ives was born in California and has spent most of his adult life outside of the United States. He has lived in Great Britain, Japan, Greece, and India and has explored the far reaches of North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. His book chronicles his travels through India, Nepal, and Southeast Asia searching for the disappearing tiger.

All talks and readings of the Southampton College Master of Fine Arts Program are free and open to the public. The lectures will take place on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in Duke Lecture Hall. Please call (631) 287-8432 for more information.
