Spring Film Series Presents "On the Rocks" on Saturday, April 13Films Made on or About Long Island Series Sponsored by Dan's Papers

- Southampton College will continue its spring film series with Hamptons resident Heather Buchanan's film "On the Rocks" on Saturday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. in Duke Lecture Hall at Southampton College.
Buchanan produced her first non-union film, ?Victimless Crimes? in Chicago, and went on the make "Live Nude Girls," a comedy that garnered critical and rental success. Her third film, "On the Rocks," is a comedy filmed on location in the Hamptons. The film focuses on two women who overcome personal and professional disappointment with coffee, cocktails, and a cable television show.
The series will continue with films such as "Whispers in the Dark,'' Woody Allen's "Everyone Says I Love You," and Edward Burn's "She's the One." All the films will be shown on consecutive Saturdays in Duke Lecture Hall at Southampton College of Long Island University. Admission is free. For reservations, please call Elaine at 537-0500.
