Southampton College "Writers Speak" Lecture Series Continues With Student Reading

- Southampton College continues its "Writers Speak" lecture series with a reading by students in the Master of Fine Arts program on December 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Duke Lecture Hall.
Those reading from their fiction include J.B. McGeever, a recent graduate of the MFA program and winner of the College's Steinbeck award, and newcomers to the program, Eileen Obser, Mitchell McMahon, and Lisa Reitman Dobi. Lucas Hunt, also a winner of the Steinbeck award, Joanne Pateman, Oliver Peterson, Julie Doane Roberts, and Seth Hurley will read poetry.
All talks and readings of the Southampton College Master of Fine Arts Program are free and open to the public. The lectures take place on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in Duke Lecture Hall. Please call (631) 287-8432 for more information.
