Center for Creative Retirement to Hold Open House

Retired men and women living on the East End are invited to an Open House to be held at Southampton College of Long Island University on Thursday, September 5, at 10:30 a.m. in the Business Center.

Refreshments will be served at the beginning of the event followed by a presentation of the innovative courses offered and an explanation of how the Center works.

The presentation will highlight the variety of exciting courses and creative activities, visits to artists studios and field trips to New York City and environs, which CCR members enjoy while making their lives more fulfilling.

CCR welcomes all retirees to this Open House social, to meet current members and to learn about annual, one semester and "snowbird" memberships. The Center, now in its 22nd year of operation, was founded by Florence and Clyde Matthews. Its current director is Cynthia B. Fecteau.
