- Southampton College Associate Provost Michael Brophy was bid farewell by campus employees on May 23 at a barbecue on the new patio outside the provost's office.
At the end of the summer, Brophy will take over as Dean and Chief Executive Officer of the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County. With this appointment, he will join the UW English Department as a tenured faculty member.
Brophy also recently was honored with a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship. He will spend the summer of 2003 as a college administrator in Bulgaria as part of the heralded exchange program.
