WPBX 88.3 FM Announces Title Change for Rosenblatt Series

- Wallace A. Smith, WPBX-FM General Manager and Program Director, announced a title change for Not The News With Roger Rosenblatt. Effective immediately, the program will be called American Essay With Roger Rosenblatt.
The program is an on-air essay on a variety of subjects. Politics, sports, books, music, everything on the public's mind will be covered. American Essay focuses on a particular idea, and then expands upon it through Roger's thoughts and conversations with his guests.
American Essay is broadcast on Fridays at 5:00 PM and again on Saturdays at 6:00 PM.
WPBX broadcasts 24 hours per day, 365 days per year from Southampton College. It is the anchor station of the Long Island University Public Radio Network, with WCWP 88.1 FM simulcasting programming from the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University in Brookville, NY.
