Graduate Admissions Open House Unveils New Masters Program

Southampton College of Long Island University will hold an Open House specifically aimed at graduate students on Wednesday, May 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Chancellors Hall. Admissions and financial-aid counselors will be available along with faculty representatives. Those who apply on campus will see their application fee waived. Southampton College offers graduate degrees including: Master of Science in Childhood Education, Literacy Education and Accounting, Master of Business Administration (sponsored by Brentwood Campus), Master of Fine Arts in English and Writing and Master of Professional Studies in Gerontology. The College will add its seventh graduate program this fall. New York State's Education Department recently approved a new Master of Science degree program in Special Education at the College. It requires 37 credits and has one track for childhood and another for adolescence certification.

Southampton College also offers graduate certification in Secondary Education, Art Education, Childhood Education grades 1-6 and Literacy Education Birth-6.
