Auditions Set for David Ives' "Mere Mortals"

Auditions are being held for The Southampton Players' winter repertory production of "Mere Mortals," master wordsmith David Ives' pointed and humorous collection of one-act plays.

Three female roles are available. Auditions take place Monday and Tuesday, November 26-27 at 6 p.m. in the Avram Theater. Contact 631-287-8480 for further information.

The Players will stage two weekends of "Mere Mortals," January 18-19 and February 1-2. Then, the Players return with their sixth-annual "InterAct" series of locally written plays, subtitled "Two by Four," to be staged January 25-26 and February 8-9. Casting for "InterAct" will be held at a later date.

The Players' current production, "City of Angels," ends its run November 16-18 in the Avram Theater at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 general admissions/$10 students and seniors. For further information, contact the Southampton Players box office at 631-287-8480.
