Reception to Benefit India's Earthquake Victims to be HeldContact:

Fax: (631) 283 4081Southampton College of Long Island University, in conjunction with the Shanti Fund, will host a reception to benefit earthquake victims in India on Saturday, March 10, 2001, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Avram Gallery in the Fine Arts Building, Montauk Highway, Southampton College. Donations will be accepted to benefit the victims of the recent earthquake. Refreshments will be served.
The current exhibit at the Gallery, "Images of India" by Southampton artist Neill Slaughter depicts images of every day life in India. The paintings were inspired by a trip Mr. Slaughter took to India in the 1990s. Call (631) 287-8234 for further information on the benefit.
