The formal program will be followed by festive activities including entertainment by Marianne Koerner, a cabaret singer and pianist from Sag Harbor as well as entertainment by a group of CCR singers.
The Center for Creative Retirement was founded in 1981 for retired men and women of the East End to expand their horizons and enrich their lives through mental stimulation, cultural development and social interaction. It was the first Institute for Learning in Retirement in Suffolk County. The Center offers a full range of courses by members, creative workshops and bus trips to historical and ecological sites, as well as outreach programs for the general community.
