Hamptons Enrichment, founded in 1996 to provide specialized learning opportunities for elementary and middle school children, has a new home at Southampton College. Beginning on Saturday, September 22, and running for six weeks, a Saturday Enrichment Program will be offered for children ages 8-13.

Mime artist Randy Lee Hendler will teach acting exercises, improvisation and mime in "Acting Up"; Tom Kirdahy, and East End attorney will introduce constitutional law to budding lawyers who will argue a discrimination case in front of local lawyers in "Civil Rights and You"; Tricia Rother, founder of Hamptons Health Works and an Associate Director of the Guild of Holistic Practitioners in Sag Harbor, will teach international cooking and healthy eating for kids in "Sushi, Curry & Me"; and Marcia Mitrowski, M.A., founder and director of Hamptons Enrichment, will explore the magical world of creative writing in "Write Away."

More fun-filled, hands-on and creative classes are being planned for the winter and spring. For rates, a brochure and more information, please call the Office of Continuing Studies at Southampton College at (631)287-8316. Deadline for registration is September 19, 2001.
