Fax: (631) 283 4081The "Wicked Women & Wayward Boys" Writers Series returns to Southampton College after a successful debut last year. The series runs every Thursday night in June at 8 p.m. in Duke Lecture Hall
Series creator and MFA in Writing Professor Indira Ganesan also offers a summer course in conjunction with the series, featuring innovative and energetic writing by contemporary authors. "Often writing itself is, for the author, a wicked and wayward act, but a necessary one to tell truths and offer a vision in the guise of fiction," Ganesan said.
The award-winning writers in this year's series attempt to challenge the mainstream, writing about race and gender in compelling and often iconoclastic ways. Call (631) 287-8107 for more information.
