CRESLI Offers Second Training Workshop for Whale Watch VolunteersContact:

Fax: (631) 283 4081If you missed the first training workshop for whale watch volunteers in May, The Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island (CRESLI) will hold another one on Sunday June 10, 2001 in the Business Center Lecture Hall at Southampton College from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The summer whale watch trips (with the Viking Fleet of Montauk) will take place on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (weather permitting) from June 30, 2001 through September 1, 2001. Volunteers will be trained to assist in spotting whales, dolphins, sea turtles, pelagic birds and other marine organisms and to assist CRESLI researchers in data collection. Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible.
