"Judy Carmichael's Jazz Inspired," produced with Steinway and Sons, enlists some well-known guests in coming weeks. Starting with celebrated artist Eric Ernst this weekend, coming shows include appearances by singer/songwriters Billy Joel and Carly Simon, New York Pops conductor Skitch Henderson, Oscar award-winning costume and set designer Tony Walton, "60 Minutes" correspondent Ed Bradley, famed novelist EL Doctorow, Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker DA Pennebaker, original "Tonight Show" host Steve Allen and several other top artists and entertainers. Common to each show, guests talk about jazz and how it affected their careers.

She has written two books on stride piano, numerous articles on jazz and has been a guest on nationally televised shows including "Sunday Morning" with Charles Kuralt and "Entertainment Tonight."
