Fax: (631) 283 4081Longtime advertising executive Monty Bachikoff will talk about a career that took him around the globe and the craft of selling ad space as part of the Business Center Lectures at Southampton College of Long Island University.

Bachikoff, a resident of Water Mill and 1960 graduate of the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University, worked at several prominent New York advertising agencies on accounts that ranged from sports cars to brassieres in the 1960s. In 1972, he joined top business publication Barron's and sold advertising space in the world's important financial centers until his retirement in December. Bachikoff rose from salesman, to Mid-Atlantic Manager, to European Director to International Director, a position he held for 14 years.
