Love is on the air at WPBX, 88.3 FM, Long Island's Public Radio. Valentines can send their sentiments and support public radio by purchasing on-air love pronouncements which will be aired on February 14. Individual greetings will cost $25 for 25 words and senders can opt for any programming slot between 9 am and 1 am. Sentiments can be original or scripted by the radio staff. WPBX is seeking volunteers in all areas of radio work. No matter what your experience, the staff is committed to increasing community involvement. A free introductory volunteer training seminar will begin at the end of February. Call Tony Dec or Rob Herbst at 287-8297.

The Center for Creative Retirement welcomes retired individuals interested in the world of ideas and interaction with those of similar interests.
