The Big Brothers Big Sisters Program at Southampton Graduate Campus of Long Island University, currently in its fifth year, is the only program of its kind on Long Island. The program, which works with children from the Bridgehampton and Southampton districts, is an enrichment program for children of all walks of life. The children, who are affectionately called the "littles," are encouraged to explore the opportunities a college environment has to offer. This year's program, which meets once a week, has a record number 20 Southampton Graduate Campus students paired with 20 "littles" and together they engage in many exciting and educational adventures. Activities so far have included a visit to the radio station WLIU 88.3 FM, designing Internet web pages in the computer lab and baking some holiday treats.
