This site contains Graduate Admissions Application Information for students applying to the M.S. in Homeland Security Management or the Advanced Certificate in Homeland Security Management program. Please follow all steps outlined below. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Admissions Office where you can receive timely assistance for whatever you may need.
HOMELAND SECURITY MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE
Master of Science in Homeland Security Management applicants, please submit:
- Two (2) professional letters of reference (Download Letter of Recommendation Form HERE)
- Essay – Use the essay portion of the online application addressing your reasons for pursuing the program and what you expect to gain from it. Please tell us something about your background and professional experience in the essay.
- If you are filing a paper application please use a separate piece of paper and write your essay.
- Original transcripts from all colleges attended
Advanced Certificate applicants, please submit:
- Two (2) professional letters of reference (Download Letter of Recommendation Form HERE)
- Transcripts from all colleges where degrees and credits were earned
- Essay (follow instructions above using essay portion of the online application)
- If you prefer, a paper application can be mailed to you. A $30 application fee is required. Please contact the Admissions office
