Commencement Housing Details

The Office of Residence Life will provide on campus housing for graduate’s family members. These rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are both double and single rooms available in co-ed suites. Please note the following conditions:

  1. Check-in for Commencement guests is Friday, May 20, 2005 prior to 5:00 p.m. at the Office of Residence Life, second floor of Abney Peak. If you wish to arrive after 5:00 p.m., please have your son or daughter pick up your keys at the Office of Residence Life before 5:00 p.m. on May 20.
  2. Check-out deadline is 12 noon, Sunday, May 22, 2005. Keys should be returned to the Office of Residence Life, second floor of Abney Peak.
  3. Cost – Single $30.00/night (one twin bed), Double $60.00/night (two twin beds).
  4. Linens and pillows will not be provided. All beds are single size. It is suggested that besides bed linens and towels, guests bring an alarm clock. Rooms are not equipped with phones. However, payphones are located in the residential areas.
Please complete the reservation form and return to the Office of Residence Life, Southampton College of L.I.U., 239 Montauk Highway, Southampton, NY 11968, at your earliest convenience. However, please know that reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, based upon receipt of the reservation form and payment.
