Rules
"Satisfactory Progress"
A student must be making satisfactory progress toward a
degree. The maximum length of time for program completion
is six years. During that time, a student must complete the
following number of credits to be eligible for assistance:

"Good Academic Standing"
To be in good academic standing, a student must maintain
a 2.00 cumulative grade point average.
Title IV Refund Policy
Title IV funds (FSEOG, FWS, Perkins, Pell, Direct) will
be refunded according to a federally mandated formula (details
available in the Financial Aid Office):
Priority Distribution back to Title IV:
- Stafford
- Perkins
- Pell
- SEOG
Academic Standards for TAP, STAP or APTS
- Students who received their first TAP payment prior to
July 1981 must take one course per semester.
- Students receiving STAP must complete at least six credits
or the equivalent per semester.
- The following standards apply to students whose first
TAP payment was received after June 1981:

For APTS students, the pursuit requirement (bottom line)
is one-half the TAP requirement.
Students who fail to meet the above requirement will lose
TAP, STAP, or APTS for the subsequent semester. They may file
an appeal with the Financial Aid Office.
