The Intensive English Programs

The Institute was created for non-native speakers of English who wish to improve English language skills for professional purposes or to meet college entrance requirements.

There are two programs, the Intensive, which is a 300 hour program over fifteen weeks with courses in the mornings or at night. Beginner through advanced levels are offered. Four basic skills are covered each week:

• Conversation
• Reading
• Writing
• Grammar

Vocabulary and listening skills are also taught in these classes.

Students enrolled in the Intensive English Language Program are eligible for F-1 student Visas. There is an additional TOEFL course offered, which is discounted for enrollees in the Intensive English course.

Tuition is:	$1300.00 per semester
	$ 50.00 approximate cost of books per semester

At registration each student is given test. Based on test results, the student will be assigned his or her level.

40 hour course

This is a condensed version of the Intensive class for those students who work full-time and have a limited amount of time. Classes are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2 hours each class, for a total of 40 hours.
