An introduction to the world's regions: Europe, Asia, Africa,
and the Americas. Regions are analyzed and compared based upon
their political economy, culture, and natural resources. The
global economy, ethnic and religious conflicts, population growth,
and environmental degradation are emphasized.

Natural Resource Conservation
-
An introduction to the management and spacial distribution of U.S.
and global natural resources. Economic, political, and ecological
philosophies of resource management are introduced and applied
to the various terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems like forests,
grasslands, rivers, and oceans. Primary emphasis is given to U.S.
natural resource problems.
