Introduction to Grant Writing

All organizations, whether they are a business, a not-for profit (NFP) organization or a government agency, require capital in order to continue their operation. This course has been designed to introduce students to one of the two strategies for raising capital, “grant writing.” Grant writing is the process by which an individual, a business or a NFP organization applies for foundation, corporate, individual and government grants, loans, loan guarantees, direct payment or any other form of “funding.” This course will introduce students to the concepts and methodologies employed in grant writing activities. 4 classes, 2 hours each. Tuition: $100.00.

Intermediate Grant Writing

This course has been designed as an extension of the Introduction course and will approach the concepts and methodologies employed in the grant writing process in a more in depth manner.  At the conclusion of the course, the student will complete a preliminary grant application. 4 classes, 2 hours each. Tuition: $100.00.
