Amerigo Rossi is a certified strength and conditioning specialist who earned his Masters degree in Exercise Science from California State University Los Angeles.  His thesis assessed the efficacy of a nutritional supplement for a diverse population of athletes in East Los Angeles. Amerigo is currently a doctoral candidate in Applied Physiology at Teachers College, Columbia University, with dissertation research in progress regarding the efficacy of group exercise training for cancer rehabilitation in an urban setting.

In addition to his graduate studies to date, Amerigo was the research coordinator for the study, "The Influence of Acculturation on Peak Bone Densities in Latinas."  He also served as a research assistant on the studies, "Study of Latino Adolescents at Risk of Diabetes,"and “Hormonal Regulators in Muscle and Metabolism in Aging.”

Over the past 10 years, Amerigo has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses ranging from Ergogenic Aids to Research Methods to Physical Activity in both California and New York.

He currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two young sons, and plays basketball as much as possible.
